Tell us about your breakthrough career moment
When I dared to speak out about what I wanted for my life and career.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever had?
You are your own best cheerleader. Learn to cheer for yourself and others will cheer for you too.
Have you ever felt held back as a women?
Not held back as such. I’ve had challenges that a male wouldn’t have had, but I fought for myself and pushed through by finding my voice and who I am and not being afraid to let whoever needs to know about what I bring to the table.
How do you protect your mental health in moments of pressure?
I take time out with myself and PAUSE.
Do you have any hobbies to keep you busy in your spare time?
I enjoy cycling and knitting. I can completely zone out and focus on just one thing at a time, not falling off my bike and not messing my knitting pattern up.
When I’m not cycling or knitting. I love to read and I love watching football with my family – we are a footy family and yes, I do know the offside rule 😉
I feel empowered when…
… I overcome challenges that I always thought I couldn’t overcome.
The world would be a better place when…
… we all accept that there is enough piece of the pie for everyone.
The woman everyone should know about is…
… anyone woman that when you leave after having a conversation with them, you feel empowered and embolden to achieve anything.
The woman who empowers me the most is…
ME.
Where is your favourite place in the world?
HOME – home is anywhere with my children.
