Being recognised for my abilities and getting a secondment to another country to help them cover a tricky period.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever had?
When you do something you are really passionate about it won’t feel like working at all.
Have you ever felt held back as a women?
Yes, being overlooked for years in a row for a directorship at a large corporate company.
I left the company and ended up starting my own business.
How do you protect your mental health in moments of pressure?
Getting outside in nature. I have a dog and walking her is a great way to destress and help my mental health.
Do you have any hobbies to keep you busy in your spare time?
Walking, crocheting, and singing, I sing in a choir.
