Tell us about your breakthrough career moment

I originally wanted to become a paediatrician then joined the army and once I finished university, my first job at Carphone Warehouse, I found my passion for Technology.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever had?

Never stop believing about what you can become in the future. Little girls with dreams become women with vision.

Put yourself forward to be your own advocate and cheerleader – this gives you self-belief. You have to back yourself for others to back you.

Have you ever felt held back as a women?

Yes, be brave and remember what is my goal?

My why?

Tackle any challenges to get better.

How do you protect your mental health in moments of pressure?

Take a moment, self-care is where you take your power back.

Do you have any hobbies to keep you busy in your spare time?

I read a book, go for walks, enjoy attending exhibitions, yoga, watch sports.

I volunteer to play for England Netball and British Athletics.

I feel empowered when…

…I see others achieving their goals and making a difference.

The world would be a better place when…

… we can collectively work together to achieve a common goal and have only positive expectations (HOPE).

The woman everyone should know about is…

Viola Davis, have you seen the commercial where she explains why you are worth it?

Powerful and empowering!

The woman who empowers me the most is…

… too many but I will say watch the film Hidden Figures.

Where is your favourite place in the world?

Rio, I enjoyed each experience and embraced the culture.
